Safety Harbor Library To Host Second Annual Mosaic Fundraiser

The Safety Harbor Public Library will host its second annual mosaic fundraiser on Saturday, May 2 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

For a $25.00 donation families, groups or individuals can create a 12’’ x 12” tile. The tiles will be grouted after the event and returned to the library for participants to pick up and to take home.

Proceeds from the event, which again will be led by local artist Heather Richardson, are slated to go towards the Safety Harbor Library Foundation’s “20/20 Vision – Let’s Build a Story” capital campaign to construct a second floor state-of-the- art meeting facility above the library.

According to library officials, all materials will be provided, but participants may bring flat pieces of tile or anything meaningful to incorporate in their personal mosaic.

Organizers are asking participants to please sign up for up for a specific time slot by Thursday, April 30 at Safety Harbor Library Foundation.org.

Donations are tax deductible and can be made online at the Library Foundation website. Cash and checks will be accepted day of event.
