Introducing the Young Reporters of Safety Harbor

youngreporters1     Remember when summer meant no school, swimming in whatever water was available,   going barefoot, and chasing the ice cream truck? Well, in Safety Harbor, summer is also when kids have a wide variety of day camps to choose from. Several very intelligent, pen-in-hand and notebook-ready kids have chosen to take my four-day camp, Young Reporters of Safety Harbor.

There are two sessions – one which has already ended and another that begins Monday, July 7.  The writers range in ages from 8 to 12 and all have the  curiosity that a good reporter needs in order to find answers. If you happen to see us walking along Main Street with notebooks and pens, feel free to wave!

I’m hoping the Young Reporters will write many articles on a variety of subjects for Safety Harbor’s readers. Please encourage them by commenting on their posts. Thanks for reading, and let’s hear it for these young writers!
