Gee, you’d think they would have approached local Dessert Baking businesses for something like this….
Steven,
This event is a big fundraiser for the Safety Harbor Library Foundation. The Safety Harbor Resort and Spa were gracious to give us the room complimentary. Since they did, the desserts for this event will need to be purchased from the Spa.
The Foundation always works with local businesses and restaurants as does our sister organization, the Friends of the Library. When it comes to contests, we always purchase gift cards from Safety Harbor businesses and restaurants for winners and will continue to support our local Safety Harbor businesses. We thank the local civic groups and businesses who came forward to support this event as table sponsors. Without them, this event would not happen. The Foundation met with MOSH to review our 20/20 Vision Let’s Build a Story Capital Campaign in July to share our vision and this upcoming event.
Thank you for your support in the past and being a judge for our Key Lime Pie Contest in April. I assure you the Foundation is working to make our City a better place and always considers local businesses in our fundraising projects. It takes a village and we are part of it.
