Library Lover’s Month Writing Contest—Write the Winning Entry and Win a Kindle Fire!
Join our celebration of National Library Lover’s Month at the Safety Harbor Public Library. Write an essay of no more than 800 words retelling your best loved memories or a topic you are passionate about. Write about how the library, a special person, or an event inspired or helped you succeed in this passion and how it touched your life in significant ways.
Beginning January 14, application information is available on the library website, www.SafetyHarborLibrary.com. Prizes will be awarded in three age categories: Adults (19 +), Teens (13-18), and Youth (12 and under). Entries must be delivered to the Safety Harbor Reference Desk in person or by email to shplref@cityofsafetyharbor.com before February 14, 2014, 6:00 pm.
Winning essays will be announced at the Library on Thursday, February 20, 6:30 pm at the Library Lover’s Celebration, an evening of literary fun with writing coach speakers, a local author book fair, and more.
