Drone Safety and Education Workshop at the SHPL

The Safety Harbor Public Library announces a Drone Safety and Education workshop for families and teens, on Saturday, February 27, 2:00 – 3:00 pm at the Library. The workshop, open to ages 7 and up, features a presentation and demo from the Sparks R/C Club of Pinellas County. Participants will learn about safe flying, new FAA rules for drone ownership, and R/C club information. There will be demonstrations and participants can test out one of the Library’s quadcopters or R/C helicopters.
