The year 2020 is coming to an end. It has been a year like no other. We will all agree on that statement without thinking twice, but what I say next I ask you to think twice about. 2020 has been a year that we have been told what to think.

A virus has turned the world upside down because we have been told what to think. Protests have broken out over things we were told what to think. A presidency has been declared regardless of what we think.

I know my family is wonderful, I know I am a great person, I know my work ethic is unparalleled. You will not be able to justify my claims through social media or online reviews and I am ok with you not being told what to think about me. I am a proud Libertarian who voted for a candidate this election that was against war, is pro constitutional judges (which read law vs make law), tackled criminal justice reform, and understood America is its own country.

I laugh out loud at those who don’t know me but think poorly of me because of who I voted for. I feel bad for those who think Government plays a role in their happiness. If you are still reading I want you to know there are people like me who take an oath “I swear by my life and my love of it that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mineAyn Rand. This oath doesn’t mean you can’t give the jacket off your back to those whom need it…. as most Americans do!

The sun will rise tomorrow and we will all have the decision on which side of the bed to wake up on. I will always choose to happily fight for freedom and state rights because I personally believe in the individual. I know who I am, I know what I experienced in this life, I know what is right and what is wrong. I know being told what to think and blindly believing it is no way to live.

Cheers to all that want to cheers back! America was and is a great experiment. I choose to believe the individuals’ faith in themselves will overcome their faith in big government. Government has a role and it is not to dictate what you should think.
