The Bustling All British Car Show and a Halloween Spooktacular Take Place This Weekend!

Folly Farms will be hosting a “Halloween Spooktacular” small park event from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM tonight, October 23rd. Starting the night time fun will be a “ghost hunt” which begins at 4:30, followed by pumpkin decorating and a movie. If you plan to attend, be sure to bring flashlights, bug spray, your own pumpkin for decorating, blankets or chairs for the not so spooky movie, and plenty of movie snacks (as no concessions will be served).
There’s no doubt that you will notice a lot of commotion and beautiful cars filling up Main Street this weekend, as Safety Harbor will be welcoming the return of the 29th annual All British Field Meet and Autojumble this Saturday, October 24th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We can expect to draw a large crowd, as last year’s event brought in record numbers with more than 240 cars and bikes on display and 5,000 attendees.
Easily enjoyed by patrons of all ages, a simple walk along Main Street will provide you with a great view of the eclectic mix of old and new automobiles, their impeccable care and stunning details. This years’ featured Marque will be the Triumph and awards will be given out at the end of the show, including a “People’s Choice Award” in which you can vote for your favorite car. Not just for British car enthusiasts, this event is accompanied by live entertainment and surrounded by many shops and restaurants in Downtown Safety Harbor which offers plenty of things for the whole family to enjoy. This event, presented by the Tampa Bay Austin Healey Club, not only brings a taste of British craftsmanship to our town but also acts as a fund raiser for Special Olympics.
