Relax @ your Library this Season
Looking for the perfect gift for the person that has everything this holiday season? Consider purchasing a bookplate or creating a family DVD. The Friends of the Safety Harbor Library provide bookplates to honor someone special for $30.00 each. Recognition of your gift appears on a distinctive bookplate inside a book. The Friends can convert your memorable family VHS tapes to a DVD for only $10.00 per tape. What could be more meaningful than a gift of your personal history? Two perfect ways to celebrate the holidays and recognize a special friend or family member. For more information, visit www.FriendsSafetyHarborLibrary.org
The Friends of the Library Book Sale is Saturday, December 5, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. All genres of books in good condition are available, with most items priced at only $1. Great for stocking stuffers and inexpensive gifts.
We kicked off the holiday season with a Giving Tree in our lobby to support the children of Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center. The tree is adorned with tags noting a child’s name, age, and their gift wish. Patrons select a gift-wish tag, purchase the gift, and return it unwrapped to the Library, with gift tag attached, by Monday, December 22.
Escape the stress of the holiday season. Check out our Library programs and read a good e-book or stop by for a book or movie. For a complete list of programs, visit www.SafetyHarborLibrary.com and go to Programs.
