The Safety Harbor Library Foundation is seeking artists of all ages and anyone creative to donate and decorate a chair of any type for their Chair-ity Fundraiser scheduled for Friday, April 17 in conjunction with National Library Week. Finished chairs will on display in the library March 20 through April 17.
There is no artist or entry fee. Artists will not be paid for their time or materials, however artists and group names will be honored on the Foundation website where chairs can be viewed prior to the Chair-ity Fundraiser. Group entries are also encouraged. Prizes will be awarded for the Most Creative, Staff Favorite, and People’s Choice.
If you are not artistic, but have an old chair to donate, please contact the Foundation to arrange pickup or it can be dropped off at the Library. Artist applications can be found on the Foundation website; www.SafetyHarborLibraryFoundation.org. Finished chairs are requested to be delivered to the Library by Friday, March 20.
