Songs & Stories – A Community Concert with Forrest McCurren
The Safety Harbor Library Foundation presents Songs & Stories, a community concert with Forrest McCurren on Thursday, November 16, 7:00PM. Doors open at 6:30PM. Beer and wine available for donation.
Forrest McCurren comes from the heart of Missouri, where the foothills of the Ozarks meet the Big Muddy. Blazing his own trail while stylistically tipping his hat to the songwriting giants of the past, McCurren wields the magic of lyricism casting a light on the intricacies of everyday, tackling topics such as wise words from waitresses, heartbroken high school football standouts, and tattooed trailer park lovers. McCurren writes songs for good people that got bad grades in school, are drunk on dreams, and still trying to figure out if life is sour or sweet.
The library is located at 101 2nd Street North, Safety Harbor. Call (727) 724-1525 x 4112 for more information. For a complete listing of library programs visit www.SafetyHarborLibrary.com
