Friends of the Safety Harbor Library Announce 4th Annual Scholarship
By The Friends of the Safety Harbor Library, a 501(c)(3) library support organization, announces a $1,500 educational scholarship opportunity for students positively influenced by libraries. High school seniors who have volunteered at the Safety Harbor Public Library, graduating from a Pinellas County public or private high school in June 2018 and continuing their education as a full-time college student in fall 2018, are eligible to apply.
Information and applications are available online at www.FriendsSafetyHarborLibrary.com. Application deadline is Saturday, March 31, 2018, 5:00 pm. Applications include a 350-word, written essay describing how libraries have helped to achieve academic goals and influenced their personal life along with the application and high school transcript. Applications can be dropped off or mailed to the Safety Harbor Public Library.
