Safety Harbor Special Events: Fall 2014
Labor Day traditionally signifies the unofficial end of summer, even though Floridians understand we still have another couple of months of sweltering temperatures ahead of us.
But let’s forget about that and concentrate on something more pleasant, like the fact that the end of summer signifies the start of the fall special events season here in the Tampa Bay area.
Safety Harbor is no stranger to special events, and fall brings some of the city’s most treasured proceedings to town; everything, including British cars, city trucks, Halloween costumes and wine, will be celebrated over the next few months.
Here’s a closer look at the Safety Harbor Fall 2014 special events calendar. Be sure to stay with Safety Harbor Connect.com for full coverage of every event!

So be sure to head downtown to check out the “autojumble” this year, and let the officials know we want to keep these itty bitty Brits here in the Harbor!

Main Street Trick or Treat

Info: Safety Harbor does Halloween right, with a safe, family friendly trek downtown where the kiddies can grab tons of candy without having to go up to any strange houses, and the adults can parade around in costumes without anyone making fun of them. Ok, so there’s no guarantee on the second part of that statement! Still, this is one of the city’s best fall events, especially when Mother Nature cooperates and it actually feels like fall!
Cost: Free
Safety Harbor Wine Festival

Roughly ten thousand people will pack Main Street again this year for the city’s annual ode to vino, with plenty of food, music and other activities going on to keep even the non-drinkers happy. One of the best parts about the event, other than all the wine, is the fact that all the proceeds go to local charities.
Cost: Free admission; wine & beer tickets sold separately for $3.00 and $5.00.
