SHPL Foundation Announces 2nd Annual Cupcake Contest

The Safety Harbor Library Foundation announces their 2nd Annual Cupcake Contest fundraiser on Thursday, October 10, 6:00 PM at the Safety Harbor Public Library. Bakers 18+ are may register online beginning August 15. The contest is limited to 25 participants. There is a $5 registration fee per baker. Judges are volunteer local dignitaries and professional bakers.

Prizes will be awarded for the People’s Choice category (based on audience participation) and by judge’s decisions in amateur and professional categories. Winners receive a cash award, local celebrity status, and a certificate of award for the top three cupcakes in the People’s Choice and amateur categories. A first and second place cash award, local celebrity status, and a certificate will be awarded in the professional category. All judge’s results are final.

Admission to the contest for guests is a $5 donation to the SHPL Foundation’s 20/20 Vision, Let’s Build a Story capital campaign. Each admission will receive five ballots for the People’s Choice Award. Additional ballots may be purchased for a $1 each.
