Safety Harbor Tool Library Opening Soon!

The Safety Harbor Public Library is opening the end December 2016!  We need your quality, working condition, electric tools you no longer use to round out our collection. (No gas powered tools, please.) We currently do not need any more screwdrivers, hammers, or other small items unless they are in excellent condition. Other items we would like to add to our collection can be found on our website.  We want all residents to have access to quality tools at no cost. If you have the original manual, please include it with your donation.  We also accept monetary donations to purchase and maintain tools for our users.

If you’re looking to make space in your garage, just let us know!  We can put those tools to great use. The average power drill is used only fifteen minutes in its lifetime. Donations may be dropped off during normal library business hours.  Pickups can be arranged by emailing:  shplref@cityofsafetyharbor.com.  Take a look at our current inventory, hours of operation, and borrowing rules here.
