Cookie Bar Crawl at the Safety Harbor Public Library
Make your favorite bar cookie and bring the recipe and cookies to exchange with other bakers at the Safety Harbor Library’s Cookie Bar Crawl on Thursday, December 21 at 6:00 pm.
Bar cookies are a potluck staple, perfect for the holidays, and are made from either a batter or stiff dough that’s poured or pressed into a baking pan or dish, baked, cooled, and then cut into bars, squares, or diamonds. They can be single-layered (like brownies) or multi-layered with cake-like or chewy textures. Bring a tried and true, family recipe or experiment with a deluxe, new-to-you bar cookie to test out before the family holiday get-together.
Registration required for bakers through the library’s website: https://events.safetyharborlibrary.org/event/cookie-bar-crawl-24543
The library is located at 101 2nd Street North, Safety Harbor. Call (727) 724-1525 x 4112 for more information and visit www.SafetyHarborLibrary.com for a complete listing of library programs.
