Safety Harbor Pier Closed For Repairs

Safety Harbor City officials have passed word along that the Marina Pier will be closed to the public until further notice for repairs.
In a press release, the city stated:
A support piling split in two and broke away from the pier. As a result the pier will be closed to the public until we can repair. With the holiday next week it may not be until the week of 12/2 that it is fixed and opened. We are working on getting a contractor out ASAP. PCSO has been informed and the entrance has been posted and barricaded.
