Weekend Preview – SongFest 2016 & Sunday Market
Get ready to have your world rocked because SONGFEST 2016 is here!
This two-day music festival will take place Saturday, April 2 through Sunday, April 3 at the Safety Harbor Waterfront Park. With almost 30 acts and 65 musicians total, there is something for everyone. The performances will reflect an eclectic collection of music from rock and roll to folk and everything in between. Last year’s attendance added up to about 4,000 people. 6,000 music lovers from near and far are estimated to attend this year so grab your lawn chairs and dancing shoes and get going!
This event also offers a dozen food vendors, including several food trucks; craft beer concessions; and an art, wine and jazz lounge. Numerous other art happenings will also be going on such as custom car painting, face painting, Hula-Hoop performers, custom kite flying demonstrations on Saturday; circus performers on Sunday; and on both days, chances to meet the musicians who will be selling and autographing their albums.
From 11:00AM to 11:00PM on Saturday and 11:00AM to 7:00PM on Sunday, this year’s SongFest is bringing you nearly 20 straight hours of music, dining, and family fun!
Tickets
Tickets are on sale at the Safety Harbor Chamber of Commerce and at the gate starting at 9:30AM Saturday. A single day ticket costs $25 and a weekend ticket costs $40 in advance($50 on Saturday). All tickets are to be picked up at will call on the day of the event. Buy your tickets here

Parking
Street parking only. Additional parking is available at the Safety Harbor Middle School (901 1st Ave. North).
MARKET ON MAIN
If you haven’t already heard the great news – Safety Harbor’s Market has moved to Sundays! Spend your Sunday perusing Main Street’s newest fresh market. With fresh produce, flowers, hand-made, local foods and crafts, you won’t come home empty-handed. The market will run every Sunday from 9:00AM – 2:00PM at the John Wilson Park Gazebo through May 29.
