Community Mosaic Dedication Set @ the Library

Over 72 individual 12” x12” mosaics will be combined into a community mosaic patchwork of beauty, revealed at the Safety Harbor Public Library on Thursday, May 29th, 6:00 pm. The public is invited to attend the dedication of this newest piece of public art in the City. The mosaic will be installed in the front of the Library. Join us after the dedication for a native American Flute Style Concert at 6:30 pm after the dedication.
The mosaics were created by community members during a Library Foundation fundraiser earlier this month under the direction of artist Heather Richardson. Families, civic groups, and individuals gathered together to leave their artistic mark and raise funds to assist in the digitization of the Library’s historic Safety Harbor Herald Newspapers.
