A tufted titmouse prepares to feed in Safety Harbor.

While researching a story on Wild Birds Unlimited last week, I had the fortune of snapping shots of a variety of species, including this tiny tufted titmouse.

The little guy was one of many beautiful birds I spotted in its natural habitat, located just a few steps from the busy intersection of McMullen Booth and Enterprise Roads; you might not be aware, but there is a natural bird sanctuary hidden behind the Northwoods Commons shop.

Look for a full story on the Wilds Birds Unlimited – and the incredible creatures it attracts – Monday on Safety Harbor Connect.com.
