FreeSHINE Seminar: Medicare Advantage Plans
The public is invited to attend a presentation on Medicare Advantage Plans on Saturday, October 10, 2:00-4:00 pm at Safety Harbor Public Library. Medicare Advantage is conducted by specially trained volunteers of the SHINE program and will provide detailed information on the basics of Medicare Advantage plans, including eligibility and enrollment, types of plans, and rights and considerations. SHINE representatives will be available to answer questions and provide enrollment or benefit application assistance.
The Florida Department of Elder Affairs’ SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) Program is available to provide free, unbiased information and assistance to Florida Medicare beneficiaries as they carefully evaluate their health care options.
