International Japanese artists Koki Sugita & Keisuke Teshima will demonstrate the art of Single Stroke Dragon painting techniques and traditional Japanese art on Sunday, November 2, 2:00 pm at the Safety Harbor Public Library. Mr. Sugita’s art expresses the traditional Japanese Shinto values of life dwelling in all things and creates exciting masterpieces of modern expression utilizing ancient design and philosophy. Mr. Teshima’s One Stroke Dragons amaze with their sensuous vitality and water color design, with only the most accomplished artists able to attain this technique. In 2013, he became actively based in Fukuoka as one of only four One Stroke Dragon artists in the world. The demonstration is free and open to the public.
