Safety Harbor Public Library and SCORE, present a workshop, Establishing a Home Based Business, on Thursday, March 10, 6:30 pm at the Library.  SCORE mentor, Janet Shellenberger will explain the unique challenges of running a home based business, its advantages, and other issues including tax implications, insurance, homeowner association covenants, and creating a private and professional space for visiting clients.

Janet Shellenberger, a SCORE mentor for over six years, has owned and managed a tax preparation and an accounting business since 2002, focusing on small and medium sized businesses of all types and legal structures. SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship.
