The Safety Harbor Public Library will be holding a free informational class covering the basics of food preservation on Thursday, January 14 at 6:30 pm.
Lisa Fulk, owner of Sunshine Canning and Cornell certified Master Food Preserver, will focus on recommended canning equipment, safety concerns, and different preserving techniques used in both water bath and pressure canning. Whether you are interested in creating unique jams or pickling different vegetables, this program will be a good starting point for your canning journey.
