Author Cynthia Sandor, Through Innocent Eyes

Meet author Cynthia A. Sandor as she discusses her book Through Innocent Eyes and her mother’s experience and journal entries as a child in Hitler’s Youth Movement, Thursday May 8, 6:30 pm at the Safety Harbor Public Library. Sandor chronicles her mother’s early life, journal, and photos and speaks about the emotional toll that World War II exacted on Bund Deutscher Mädel (BDM) girls who participated in the Landjahr Lager (Country Service Camp) program and the families who loved them.
