Join us for Author BonSue Brandvik as she discusses her research on the historic Belleview Biltmore Hotel and its stories of the paranormal, April 17, 6:30 pm at the Safety Harbor Public Library. BonSue Brandvik serves as the Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Board of Belleair and leads the writers critique group Clearwater Writer’s Bi-Weekly Meet-Up.
Although BonSue only intended to use spirits as a way of demonstrating the wisdom and courage of women who lived in the past for her book Pearls: Spirits of the Belleview Biltmore, people who had stayed at or worked at the hotel often wrote to her, relating personal stories about what they believed were interactions with the paranormal at the hotel. Over time, she realized that some people who were strangers to one-another provided identical reports about paranormal encounters. BonSue discusses stories of twenty identical encounters told to her by at least two people who didn’t know that anyone else had experienced the same phenomenon.
