Nylon & Steel: An Evening of Classical and Fingerstyle Guitar Music

Multi-award winning guitarist Dr. Jimmy Moore will perform on Thursday, June 14 at 6:30 pm at the Safety Harbor Public Library. The concert will take you on a musical guitar journey from its origins in Spain to modern American fingerstyle, featuring exhilarating performances on both the nylon Spanish and the American steel string guitar.
Dr. Moore is a featured artist at many international guitar and music festivals. He has performed for dignitaries and celebrities in the US and abroad and is a frequent performer with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and the South Georgia Ballet. Moore earned a Doctor of Music (D.M./Ph.D) degree in Classical Guitar Performance from Florida State University with a Doctoral Minor in Musicology.
