Nan Colton, of Solo Productions, performs Berthe Morisot-First Impressions, on Thursday, June 19, 6:30 pm at the Safety Harbor Public Library. Nan Colton portrays Berthe Morisot and her life as a female artist influenced by Monet, Renoir, and Manet.
Ms. Colton is a storyteller, writer, playwright, and professional actress who performs passionate, live biographical portraits of remarkable women, and unforgettable tales of fact and fiction. She has performed and lectured professionally on stages throughout South Africa, Great Britain, and the United States. For the past 18 years, Ms. Colton has been the Performing-Artist-in-Residence at the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, FL and has researched, produced and performed over 37 different original scripted presentations.
