Benefit: The Kiwanis Club of Safety Harbor and the Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center have partnered again to present the 2nd annual Bands & Beer on the Bay, a music festival at Safety Harbor’s Waterfront Park featuring a Wings Throwdown, food trucks, local craft beers and four bands. Proceeds will be split between the two nonprofits to fund programs benefiting children and families.
WINGS THROWDOWN 4 p.m.
Wings Throwdown tickets (six wings for $5) will be sold at the event and are limited. Participants will vote on “Bands & Beer, Best Wings.”
SCHEDULE OF BANDS 4 -10 p.m.
BEER 4 p.m-9:45 p.m.
Craft brews from Crooked Thumb Brewery for just $5, wine from Ed’s Fine Wine’s, Miller Lite and other Miller selections also will be available for $5, or purchase a $17 beer/wine pass good for 4 drinks.
FOOD TRUCKS 4-10 p.m.
Eight food trucks will be onsite during the event for your dining and snacking pleasure.
CHARITY
Net proceeds will be split between two local nonprofits: The Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center and the Kiwanis Club of Safety Harbor to fund programs benefiting children and families.
